God is raising families with specific visions. There is a vision to your marriage. Have you considered why God brought you and your spouse together in marriage, beyond the basic understanding that you love each other? There is a deeper dimension to your marriage. There is a greater glory to your relationship. A prophetic marriage is a relationship with a specific vision.
God could raise a couple to lay and coordinate a new foundation for a workable and effective health care delivery in a nation. He could raise another family to access the hidden riches of secret places or the treasure stolen by darkness for the purpose of financing the end-time revival. Such a family will have the grace to establish businesses that run on Kingdom principles. They will have the anointing to make an impact in the marketplace even where it is dominated by sorcerers. They will not see wealth as an end in itself but as a means to the end of financing God’s programs.
Another family could be raised by God to teach the church propheticintercession. An apostolic grace will come upon them to raise other family intercessors who will turn the family altar into a weapon of nationalredemption. Their prayers will not just be a “God, give me this and that”affair. Rather, as watchmen they will weep and wail for the vindication oftheir environment. They operate as burden bearers, glory carriers, androyal priests.
A marriage without a vision is like a cloud without rain. It promisesto be fruitful, but it is actually barren. It may lay claims to being Christian, but it cannot be prophetic. It may begin well, but end badly, because“where there is no vision, the people perish” (Prov. 29:18 KJV).
A prophetic marriage is like a spiritual magnet. It attracts other marriages that are dead or dying with a view to reviving them. It brings an environment into contact with God’s plans and purposes. It harnesses gifts in people and in nations with a view to using them to fulfill God’s prophetic agenda for the Church.A prophetic marriage is a fruitful marriage. It is a marriage with a godly purpose. It is a marriage of ordinary people with extraordinary grace.
