The best covenant partnership in this respect will be a husband and wife team. They are the ones who most often will be together at midnight. Even close friends may not always be together at this time unless they have arranged to pray at midnight on a particular day of the week. Young people who have agreed to get married and are preparing for their marriage should never pray together at this time. You must not open yourselves up to temptations. Besides, you must ―abstain from all appearance of evil. You can pray independently.
A husband and wife can, however, deepen their relationship with each other and with God at midnight. They may not always be able to pray together at this time, but their covenant partnership in marriage can be enhanced by the covenant partnership to pray at midnight. Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 says:
“Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up. Again, if two lie together, then they have heat: but how can one be warm alone? And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.”
There is great power in corporate prayer, especially at midnight. ―One shall chase a thousand and two shall chase ten thousand. May God grant you and your spouse grace to chase ten thousand and more demons out of your neighbourhood at midnight in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
