The day of your birth has a deep spiritual significance. This is the day you passed through the gates of your mother’s womb into the gates of time. When occultists and prognosticators want to terminate an individual’s life, they first find out the day he or she was born. Having found out, they programme their satanic darts into this day to destroy the person and the destiny he or she came to fulfill.
Your birthday or marriage anniversary should not just be a day of drinking, dancing and merriment. While you rejoice in the grace of God that has kept you alive you must also get involved in strategic level spiritual warfare against the evil forces that seek to terminate your destiny. Even when your birthday meets you in an adversity, don’t behave like Job who cursed the day of his birth.
Let the day perish wherein I was born, and the night in which it was said, There is a man child conceived. Let that day be darkness; let not God regard it from above, neither let the light shine upon it. Let darkness and the shadow of death stain it; let a cloud dwell upon it; let the blackness of the day terrify it. As for that night, let darkness seize upon it; let it not be joined unto the days of the year, let it not come into the number of the months. Lo, let that night be solitary, let no joyful voice come therein. Let them curse it that curse the day, who are ready to raise up their mourning. Let the stars of the twilight thereof be dark; let it look for light, but have none; neither let it see the dawning of the day: Because it shut not up the doors of my mother’ s womb, nor hid sorrow from mine eyes (Job 3:3-10).
By speaking in this manner Job was joining forces with those who cursed the day he was born. ―Why did I not die at birth? When I came from the womb?‖ There is no justification whatsoever to talk like Job no matter the difficulties you are facing. You should rather say the opposite of the things Job said against the day of his birth. Ask God to teach you to number your days, so you can apply your heart to wisdom. Secure the moment, minute, hour and day you came into the world.
Climb up to the watchtower at midnight on your birthday and make the following proclamations: ―
“May the day I was born be established in the annals of great days. May the day bring light to those in the dark. May God cause the day I was born to shine with the brightness of His glory. May this day terrify the kingdom of darkness. May it bring deliverance to the multitudes in the valley of the shadow of death. May no dark cloud be able to settle on it. May the brightness of this day terrify the forces of darkness. May the glory of its light seize them. May the day I was born ever be included in the annals of great days. May it be fruitful and never barren. May joyful shouts be ever heard on this day. May those who curse the birthdays of great men never be able to curse this day. May those who are ready to arouse Leviathan never succeed in their enterprise on this day.”
“May the stars of its morning ever shine brighter and brighter. May this day never lack light; because it was in agreement with the gate of my mother’s womb. May sorrow never be associated with the day I was born.”
This proclamation could be made at three specific times on your birthday. You could make it first at midnight and midday. You could also make it at the specific time of the day you were born. Many people do not know the exact time of their birth. But it is imperative for parents and birth attendants to accurately record the date and time when babies are born. This will enable us to pray prophetically to secure the gates of time through which we came into existence.
You don’t have to be afraid of those who want to kill you through the manipulation of the day and time you were born. As you wage war with knowledge at the gates of your birth you will be able to deal with the spirit of death and hell. That way, there will be no chance of your saying like Job, ―For the thing I greatly feared has come upon me, and what I dreaded has happened to me” (Job 3:25).
