The kitchen is a rainbow-type altar where the seven Spirits of God are manifest. These are the Spirit of His Lordship, the spirit of knowledge, understanding, wisdom, might, counsel and the fear of the Lord. Revelation 5:6 says that the seven Spirits of God have been sent into all the earth. In other words, they are available in your kitchen. Activate their presence.
Ask the Spirit of counsel for what to prepare for your family every week. Wait on the Lord to receive direction on what to prepare and serve your family at the beginning of every week. Write down the vision of what your family’s menu should be like for the week. Don’t wake up every day confused about what to cook for your family. The spirit of knowledge, understanding and wisdom are available to give you direction. The spirit of counsel will quicken your creativity in the kitchen. In fact, as I was writing this segment, my wife asked me to taste a new fruit juice she prepared, banana mixed with watermelon. It tasted quite beautiful. Ask God to give you grace to create unique recipes for your family. Praying and waiting on the Lord in your kitchen will open the heavens for you. You will begin to see the divine patterns of cooking. Yes, there is culinary activity going on in heaven. Psalm 78:24b describes manna as “the bread from heaven.” Surely, this bread was baked in a kitchen in heaven. It was prepared by angelic chefs, based on the divine recipes of God.
Praying to receive a divine recipe from Heaven is a fundamental aspect of the unique intercession that priests must do in the kitchen. Psalm 78:25 says that “Men ate angels’ food. He sent them food to the full.” Your family members can also eat angels’ food if you will be diligent enough to receive the divine recipe for it.
