SEVEN SAYINGS OF THE SAVIOUR FOR SALVATION

The seven words of Jesus on the Cross can be described as the sayings of life and death. This is not just because of their content, but also for the fact that the Cross is a symbol of life and death. The worst criminals in Israel were usually crucified on the Cross. They often died in agony and excruciating pain. Death on the cross was shameful and those who suffered it were usually despised.

Ironically, however, the cross is also a symbol of life. The redemption, and justification of all mankind was purchased on the Cross by the Blood of the Lamb slain for our restoration. Jesus made seven statements on the cross, which are encoded with life for all who will catch a revelation of the essence of these words.
