There is tremendous power in praying at midnight. Midnight is such a special and strategic time of prayer that your whole life and the life of your family or nation can be transformed at this time.

Jesus did not just command us to pray. He commanded the Church to watch and pray. No one can pray at midnight without watching. Midnight is the time of thick darkness. It is the period when one’s spiritual eyes must be anointed with eye salve so that we can see more effectively in the realm of the spirit.

Prayer done at midnight is prayer based on chromos timing. But it could have prophetic implications. Only true watchmen can sustain the grace to watch and pray at this time. The commandment to watch and pray, especially at midnight, is a very serious one.
