God promised a woman that her husband would be born again. For twenty seven years she prayed for the fulfillment of God’s word. Unfortunately, one day the husband become critically ill and hospitalized. While praying for him at home information came that the man had died.
This woman refused to accept the verdict of death pronounced on her husband, because of the word she received from God. She got to the hospital and was received by the sympathetic doctors. Though they all declared the man dead, she would not accept their verdict. “God’s word cannot fail,” she insisted. The husband was not yet born again, so there was no way he could die.
The woman knelt down by the “dead” man’s bed and began to pray. She prayed five hours and nothing happened. She prayed for another five hours and still nothing happened. The doctors and nurses came to persuade her to leave, but she would not. She prayed for some more hours. To the glory of God, by the thirteenth hour the husband rose up from the dead, to the amazement of all.
Miracles are made by tough people who will not give up in the face of obstacles. Prayer will move the hand of God if you will bow your knees to cry to God. A tender heart will see a need in the life of somebody and yet be tough enough to wait long hour before God to ensure that the need is met. Why not ask the Holy Spirit to give you such tender toughness. With it, the rough edges of your family can be smoothened. Believe me! You make your own miracle in the family.
