Today, 26th of March, is the first day of the first month of the Bible. Called Nisan, it is the Head of the months, the source of the ecclesiastical year. God Himself declared that “This month shall be your beginning of months; it shall be the first month of the year to you” (Exodus 12:2).
Blowing the trumpet of Nisan opens the portals of time according to Psalm 81:3-4: “Blow the trumpet at the time of the New Moon, at the full moon, on our solemn feast day. For this is a statute for Israel, a law of the God of Jacob.”
The first trumpet of Nisan lays the foundation for the other trumpets of a given year. They send the signals at the source of the year and cause their unique sounds to flow into the other eleven lunar cycles that make up the year.
THE NATURE OF THE FIRST MONTH OF THE BIBLE CALENDAR
- TIME OF DIVINE AND ANGELIC VISITATIONS: “Behold, I send an Angel before you to keep you in the way and to bring you into the place which I have prepared. Beware of Him and obey His voice; do not provoke Him, for He will not pardon your transgressions; for My name is in Him. But if you indeed obey His voice and do all that I speak, then I will be an enemy to your enemies and an adversary to your adversaries” (Exodus 23:20-22).
- PERIOD OF THE SPRING TIME SEASON OF WAR: “It happened in the spring of the year, at the time when kings go out to battle, that David sent Joab and his servants with him, and all Israel; and they destroyed the people of Ammon and besieged Rabbah” (2 Samuel 11:1). “But David remained at Jerusalem. It happened in the spring of the year, at the time kings go out to battle, that Joab led out the armed forces and ravaged the country of the people of Ammon, and came and besieged Rabbah. But David stayed at Jerusalem…” (1 Chronicles 20:1).
- TIME OF DELIVERANCE FOR THE REDEEMED: “But on Mount Zion there shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions” (Obadiah 1:17).
- SEASON OF RETRIBUTION FOR REDEMPTION: “For the day of vengeance is in My heart, and the year of My redeemed has come” (Isaiah 63:4). “Let the saints be joyful in glory…Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand, to execute vengeance on the nations, and punishments on the peoples; to bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; to execute on them the written judgment—this honor have all His saints. Praise the LORD!” (Psalm 149:5-9).
- TIME TO ACTIVATE THE MINISTRY OF THE BLOOD OF JESUS: “Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year. You may take it from the sheep or from the goats. Now you shall keep it until the fourteenth day of the same month. Then the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it at twilight. And they shall take some of the blood and put it on the two doorposts and on the lintel of the houses where they eat it” (Exodus 12:1-7). “In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace” (Ephesians 1:7). “But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God…to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel” (Hebrews 12:22, 24).

The trumpet of the Bible first month of Nisan is one of the most important, if not the most important, sounds for opening the gateways of the whole year. As we blow this trumpet on this first day of Nisan on this 26th day of March, 2020, we must trust God to:
- Open the Portals of Heaven for Individuals, Families and Nations to Experience a New Beginning
- Release the Armouries of Heaven in the Springtime Season When Kings Go to War
- Provoke the Grace of Deliverance for the Redeemed Under Affliction, Especially in this Season of the Corona Virus
- Activate the Two-edged Sword of Retribution for the Rebellious and Redemption for the Righteous
- Invoke the Voice and the Ministry of the Blood of Jesus for the Redemption of All Things
- Ask God to Release the Ministry of Angels for this New Season of Divine Visitation.
“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in Him I will trust. Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence…No evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; for He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways. In their hands they shall bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone” (Psalm 91:1-3, 10-12).
