Jesus said in John 7:37-38, “…If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.”
People are insubordinate because they are spiritually empty of living water. Emptiness in the spirit breeds carnality of the highest order.
Unbelief is a manifestation of insubordination. It is the harbinger of those who have no regard for the word of God. The word builds faith and faith encourages obedience. Those without faith are those who don’t drink living water. And those who don’t drink living water are bound to be insubordinate to God.
