Description
Deception is “the act of hiding the truth to gain an [unholy] advantage.” It involves the use of “dishonest or illegal methods… to get something…” Those who use it as a tool have a make-belief motives and tend to get others to “believe that something is true when it is not.” Deception is geared towards manipulation, domination and control. It is a satanic weapon of the cruel, a demonic arrow of the propagandist and a deliberate means of hoodwinking the ignorant.
The Church and the leaders of nations must be careful and discerning about people and perceptions that dictate the solutions to the social, political and economic problems that face them in the endtime. Every perceived solution to a given problem must be cross-checked in the light of the dictates of God’s Word. Those who come to them saying “I am the Christ” anointed to deal with say, deadly pandemics killing thousands of people, must be evaluated and assessed by the mirror of God’s Word.
